Racing is a high-speed competition between drivers, or race vehicles, on closed-circuit tracks or open roads. There are different racing disciplines, including stock car racing; dirt track racing; drag racing; rally racing; and panisheurmals and events that can be held indoors to foster close contact between the car and the driver. There are diverse roles for imperfect drivers like competitors, development drivers, and test drivers.
